§ Recipes & Rituals
One powder, a hundred weathers. Calibrate water, heat, and time — then coax the flavour toward the day you are actually having.

§ Five Occasions §
A different Karha for morning clarity, a post-meal settle, an evening wind-down, the first scratch of a cold, and the long flight ahead.
Brāhmī forward · 6 AM
Hot, unsweetened, a whisper of lemon. The second sip after the first cold glass of water.
Tulsī · Pepper · Any time
For the first pollen week. Tulsī at the bloom, pepper at the finish. Clears the head within minutes.
Jeera · Ajwain · 20 min after eating
Half a cup, near-boiling, no dairy. The bitter note does the work; honey only if the meal was heavy.
Brāhmī · Honey · 3 PM
For the slump. A lighter brew, a spoon of honey off-heat, drunk on the balcony if possible.
Tagara · Warm milk · 9 PM
Stir milk in at the end, not at the start. Jaggery to taste — the drink should coat the spoon lightly.
§ The Master Method §
Everything that follows is a variation on this. Learn this in your hands; the rest will feel obvious.
One and a half level teaspoons of Karha per 180 ml of cold, filtered water.
Pour cold water over the powder in the vessel. Let it sit for one minute.
Low flame, uncovered. Watch for the first large bubble — kill the heat the moment it breaks.
Cover. Steep off-heat for five full minutes. Do not stir.
Through fine mesh, into a warmed ceramic cup. Finishing ingredients go in after the pour.
Now the brew is yours. A crack of pepper for bold mornings, honey for winter evenings.
